T-shirts and Bags and Aprons - Oh My!
December 8, 2014
I will be the first to tell you that I have always been a print snob. Promotional items? Not for me! That being said, we do offer promotional items here at Green Eagle Graphics and lots of them. About half of our reps are primarily dedicated to helping their customers brand their businesses with trendy little trinkets and wearable's. To me that side of the business wasn't for "real" printing professionals. And it was fairly a beating. More often than not, a customer doesn't need 500 t-shirts. They need 5 or 10. Not really a large enough quantity to silk screen so you are stuck with direct to garment which limits your material or heat transfers which can look pretty awful. They also don't want white tee's and that is the second problem. Not easy to do short run prints on darker t-shirts.
So (confession time) I have to tell you that I've gone over to the dark side. Yep, I have. We recently signed an agreement to represent a line of Okidata printers that print with white toner. What does that matter, you ask? Well we can print the white on the transfer material and then transfer to colored tee's or bags or whatever else you need without that plastic feeling you frequently get from traditional transfers. I may be in love. Need 5 t-shirts or even 1? Give me a shout! email@example.com
